The City’s Solid Waste solution, a Materials Management Station, is featured in the latest edition of “The Insider". The Materials Management Station, which can also operate as a Transfer Station, is a component of a larger facility planned for Butler Drive that would process trash collected from City residents and businesses into a biomass fuel feedstock for generating renewable natural gas (RNG). The product is also approved by the EPA as a substitute for coal and wood in conventional solid fuel boilers and cement kilns. This show's guest is Assistant City Manager Darren Gore, and the podcast is hosted by Public Information Officer Mike Browning.
