The City’s Solid Waste solution, a Materials Management Station, is featured in the latest edition of “The Insider". The Materials Management Station, which can also operate as a Transfer Station, is a component of a larger facility planned for Butler Drive that would process trash collected from City residents and businesses into a biomass fuel feedstock for generating renewable natural gas (RNG). The product is also approved by the EPA as a substitute for coal and wood in conventional solid fuel boilers and cement kilns.
